Why Climate Change Is Harder to Solve Than the Ozone Crisis

In this webinar, Prof. Dr. Marco Verweij will take on one of the biggest issues of our time: climate change and why it’s so much harder to solve than the ozone crisis is. You’ll get a clearer picture of how international relations helps explain the politics behind climate action, what students explore in our International Relations: Politics and History program, and how studying this field can genuinely change the way you look at global challenges.

At Constructor University, political science isn’t just about memorizing facts or learning how governments work on paper. It’s about understanding how the world works, how countries cooperate (or don’t), how global decisions get made, and why world politics can be both challenging and fascinating. Our faculty dive into real topics like international conflict, global cooperation, and political culture, and bring those conversations straight into the classroom.

Students learn to break down complex global issues, look at world events from different angles, and figure out how political decisions really take shape. Along the way, they build the kind of thinking and communication skills that help them make sense of the world and even shape it.
