Heute gibt Constructor University die Finalisten des diesjährigen Constructor Start Programms bekannt. Aus über 1.600 Bewerbungen aus 50 Ländern wurden 26 herausragende Startups ausgewählt. Jedes dieser Early-Stage-Tech-Unternehmen erhält Zugang zu den exklusiven Ressourcen, Mentoring-Programmen und globalen Netzwerken der Constructor Group. Darüber hinaus haben die teilnehmenden Startups die Möglichkeit, eine Finanzierung von bis zu 1 Million US-Dollar zu erhalten – beginnend mit einem Preisgeld von 100.000 US-Dollar für den überzeugendsten Pitch beim Demo Day der Constructor University, der im Januar 2026 auf dem Campus in Bremen stattfinden wird.

Constructor Start ist ein umfassendes Online-Accelerator-Programm, das darauf ausgelegt ist, angehende Unternehmerinnen und Early-Stage-Startups zu unterstützen, die in Bereichen wie KI, DeepTech, Bildung, Software und mehr innovieren. Ziel ist es, die kritische Lücke zwischen Innovation und Markterfolg zu schließen. Teilnehmende erhalten die Möglichkeit, ihr skalierbares Geschäftsmodell durch personalisiertes Mentoring von Branchenexpertinnen sowie durch den Zugang zu den Bildungsressourcen und Forschungslaboren von Constructor und Nexford University zu verfeinern und auszubauen. Die vielversprechendsten Startups haben außerdem die Chance, bis zu 1 Million US-Dollar an Direktinvestitionen von Constructor Capital zu erhalten – gebührenfrei und ohne Abgabe von Unternehmensanteilen.

Das Programm ist ein Eckpfeiler des Engagements der Constructor University für Unternehmertum und Innovation in der Region Bremen und darüber hinaus. Es ergänzt die akademischen Programme, indem es praxisnahe Startup-Erfahrungen bietet, Studierende und Forschende mit Branchenexpertinnen vernetzt und Partnerschaften zwischen Wissenschaft und Wirtschaft stärkt. Durch den Aufbau einer globalen Gründerinnengemeinschaft trägt Constructor Start zu einem florierenden Startup-Ökosystem bei, das über den Campus hinausreicht und Gründer*innen dabei unterstützt, ihre Lösungen zu skalieren und einen nachhaltigen gesellschaftlichen Beitrag zu leisten.

Während die Finanzierung für frühere Finalisten – wie etwa das HealthTech-Startup Kudu, dessen innovative Lösung zur Verlängerung der Batterielaufzeit medizinischer Implantate den 100.000-Dollar-Preis beim letzten Demo Day gewann – einen entscheidenden Unterschied machen kann, ist der ganzheitliche Ansatz des Programms in Sachen Mentoring und Entwicklung von unschätzbarem Wert: „Besonders gut gefiel mir das Mentoring-Matching“, sagte Yuval Shklarsh, CEO und CTO von Kudu. „Mein Mentor hat mir wirklich geholfen, einen klaren und überzeugenden Geschäftsplan zu entwickeln.“
