Craving some fresh fruits and veggies? We got you covered.

Bremen has 37 weekly markets spread across the city. There you can find a huge variety of exotic and seasonal veggies, fruits, meat, fish, cheese, and poultry. If you want to check out the most famous market in town, you need to head to Domshof. This weekly market is placed directly behind the cathedral and the Bremen town hall. It has over 50 different pop-up stores and has been around since 1922. The market is there from Monday to Friday between 8 AM and 2 PM, and on Saturday from 8 AM until 3 PM.

If you are not sold yet on checking out the weekly markets, how about getting a new plant? The flower market at Unser-Lieben-Frauen-Kirchhof has a varied range of flowers and plants. The florists are located adjacent to the Domshof weekly market and the tradition has been kept since the 19th century.

Both markets are open all-year-round and they change depending on the season. Centrally located and easy to get to, they are one of the many markets around town. If going to the city center sounds too far away, one can check out the weekly markets in Vegesack and Lesum, they might not have such a variety of sellers, but you will find everything you need!
