ArtFest is planned in 2026 with a new theme “…”

The annual major art exhibition has been taking place since 2018 with the support of many Bremen local and international artists. Last year around 130 external artists contributed with their artworks. 50 local artists participated (Bremen area). The event is open to public and takes place on campus.

Constructor Orchestra Spring Concert 2026

Orchestra Club always plays at official university events. The orchestra club actually
consists of 35 members. For a Spring Concert 2026, open for public, funding is needed for instrument rental and other materials.

Through the community impact project (CIP) initiative, Constructor University students in their fifth semester engage in major-related projects to benefit our region and create positive change. Constructor University students support NGOs, administrative organizations, schools, businesses, or startup companies.

Student activities and clubs

Constructor University has over 60 student clubs on campus. They are all students organized with its own fundraising. For bigger investments (new equipment, for example boat refits for the rowing club or competitions abroad, additional funding is needed. Every Euro counts!

Constructor Rowing Club

in cooperation with the Vegesacker Ruderverein e.V.

The Constructor University Sports and Convention Center holds one of the most advanced indoor rowing facilities to be found in Northern Bremen. It features a life-sized in-door rowing tank, which can facilitate up to eight rowers. The rowing facility, furthermore, has huge mirrors placed on either side of it so that the rowers can correctly calculate the rhythm their partners have adapted.

Summer camp 2025

Constructor University football team

in cooperation with the Sportgemeinschaft Aumund Vegesack

The Constructor University fields a team in the Kreisliga B men´s league for the SAV, located in Bremen-North. Around 20 players from Constructor University are registered every season
15 public games per year. Training sessions and competitions are most of the time open for public! Ask for info!

Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center of Constructor University runs an 8-week online accelerator program for the best early-stage startups. The program provides founders with expert guidance, direct access to a curated network of potential partners, and opportunity to win $100k on Demo Day.

Endowment funding

How an endowment works

Here are some fundamentals of the endowment process:

An endowment is a gift of assets that is strategically converted by the CU (CERG Foundation Endowment Fund) Endowment Fund into long-term investments to provide sustainable, long-term financial support.
Each year a portion of the market value from an endowment is transferred into a spending account, making it available to the university beneficiary you designate.
Only the earned returns on an endowment are spent; the principal remains intact, yielding benefits to the university in perpetuity.
Endowment donors receive personalized reports on their investments each year, describing the financial performance of their gift, how their endowment enhances the foundation’s investments and how the gift continues to make a difference at CU.
