Get ahead with Gateway! The Gateway Year Program is designed for high-achieving students who are ready for university-level studies but need to strengthen their academic English or obtain the required subject specific university entrance qualification, regulated in Constructor University's "Regulation on the Entrance Examination for University Admission at Constructor University for Applicants qualified abroad" based on §33 Abs 3c BremHG in combination with §2 Abs. 1 BAHZV. Universities in other federal states may recognize these qualification pathways as equivalent to a Studienkolleg qualification within the framework of their respective admission regulations; however, the final decision regarding recognition and admission rests solely with the respective institution.
The Gateway Year program offers a distinctive chance to start university early and take undergraduate modules with transferable credits from day one. The program’s essential preparatory courses provide our students with the unique opportunity to succeed academically while guaranteeing their spot in the undergraduate program of their choice upon successful completion. English Qualification
- Choose 2 CHOICE modules from your undergraduate program
- Decide on earning additional credits and choose between the modules from Methods, German Language or Pre Degree Mathematics
- Pass the Academic English modules
- Successfully complete the program
- Transition seamlessly into year one of the chosen degree
Academic Qualification
- Choose 2 CHOICE modules within the area of your undergraduate program
- Select between the undergraduate German Language module or a Humanities module
- Prepare for the TestAS and entrance examinations
