Campus Center

The Campus Center is a defining feature on campus and home to the Information Resource Center (IRC), Constructor University’s digital and reference library.

Many of the main conference events and community activities are held at the Campus Center throughout the year.

Community Spaces

Sports & Convention Centre (SCC)

The SCC is our vibrant hub for student sports and festive university events. With four versatile sports halls, it provides student clubs plenty of space to practice across various disciplines. Students can also take advantage of the fitness facilities on the second floor—the Recreation Center—where they can stay active in a welcoming environment. In the basement, a specialized rowing tank provides year-round training opportunities for the university’s rowing team.  Beyond athletics, the SCC transforms into an impressive venue for key events like the Annual Opening celebration and the Graduation ceremony, making it central to both everyday campus life and unforgettable milestones.

Pool

Directly across the street from campus, students can benefit from exclusive university opening hours at the local pool, which features five 25-meter lanes – ideal for swimming laps, post-class cooldowns, or splashing with friends.

Arts & Culture Center (ACC)

The Arts & Culture Center is the heart of our cultural activities on campus all major events are taking place in the building next to the IRC.

It includes our Theatre Space which is the place for theatre, small performances, and movie nights, the MusicLab for community concerts & parties as well as the student-run bar and social hub called “The Other Side”. At the Music Studio, students can rehearse with their band or practice individually.

The annual art event “Art Fest” transforms the entire building into an extensive art exhibition showcasing all kinds of arts from Constructor students and artists from all over the globe.

There are many opportunities to contribute to the community through performing arts.

Student Activities Center

The Student Activities Center (SAC) is the home for many of our student-led clubs int he area of arts especially plastic, expressive and digital arts. It offers the space for Pottery, painting, and photography and many more. You can also get in touch with the representatives of our Student Governments, the USG (Undergraduate Student Government) and the GSA (Graduate Student Association).

The Other Side

TOS is one of Constructor University’s most loved community spaces—a relaxed, student-led bar venue where campus life truly comes alive. It’s the kind of place where you can show up not knowing many people and leave having made new friends, thanks to the music, the welcoming atmosphere, and the mix of familiar faces and new ones every week.

Every Friday, TOS hosts Bar Night open to the whole community, with free drinks while supplies last—a perfect way to wind down after a busy week and connect with others in a low-pressure, fun setting. About once a month, the student body organizes larger, themed Community Parties that turn TOS into a full-campus celebration. Throughout the semester, you’ll also find Cultural Nights with performances and live music, plus game nights, challenges, and other activities that make it easy to join in and feel included.

TOS isn’t just a social spot—it’s also a space students can actively shape. Student clubs and associations can apply to host events at the start of each semester, bringing their own ideas and energy into the venue. All of this is made possible through the support of the student government, the dedication of student volunteers, and the TOS student staff team, who work on every event to keep the space safe, welcoming, and enjoyable for everyone.
