He holds a doctorate degree from the European University Institute in Italy. His work explores how governments, businesses, and civil society can collaborate to address issues like climate change and international conflict. Verweij is the author of "Clumsy Solutions for a Wicked World" and has held fellowships at institutions including Stanford and Oxford.
