Shape the Future of AI in Research

The AI in Science Working Groups (AISWGs), organised by the SCIANCE project, are now open for participation.

Visit the Sciance Working Groups information page for more details and submit your application before 10 April 2026. If you want to nominate a colleague, you can send your nomination (include relevant details such as name, function, and email of the person you nominate) to info@sciance.eu.

These 10 thematic groups convene experts in key scientific domains (Astronomy and Fundamental Physics, Materials Science, Life Sciences, Earth Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities) and in AI-related topics (AI Research and Experimental Design, Data Science and Advanced Analytics, Open Science and Trustworthy AI, AI and Computing Infrastructures, Industry, Innovation and Frugal AI). The AISWGs will co-create the European Strategic Research & Innovation Agenda (SRIA) for AI in Science, and will be involved in the follow-up validation, community consultation and strategic alignment phases.
