Homecoming 2026: 25 Years of Excellence

Open Lectures – all day, various locations – (full schedule to be announced ~1 week before Homecoming)

Want to turn back time to your student days? Sit in on a class, revisit a favorite professor, or simply experience campus life again.

• Alumni Lounge – all day, Conference Room
  Grab some refreshments and take some time to relax, unwind, or get some work done before the festivities get underway.
• Welcome Desk – 12:00 – 20:00, IRC
  Stop by to check in, pick up your name badge and wristband, grab your welcome bag, catch up with us, and get any information you need throughout the day.
• Kaffee und Kuchen – 15:00 – 17:00, Conference Room
  Take a break and enjoy this traditional German afternoon treat while connecting with fellow alumni. Also, a little homework for you: yearbooks will be available. Find your name and photo, sign near it, and leave a trace so we know you were here!
• Campus Tours – 15:00, Meet in Foyer
  Join guided tours of the campus and see what has changed since your time here. The campus remains familiar, but you might notice little details you didn’t before!
• Wisdom Across the Eras (Alumni/Student Networking) + Alumni Awards Announcement – 17:30 – 19:00, IRC, DForge, 4^th Floor
  Connect with fellow alumni and students through conversations around a diverse range of topics. Learning goes both ways – students have plenty of experiences and perspectives to share too. It’s a great opportunity to meet, exchange ideas, and learn from each other.

• JET LAG – 20:00 – 21:00, Live Alumni Rock Band Performance
  Get ready for a special comeback! JET LAG, the first rock band ever formed on campus, will reunite for a live performance during Homecoming. Originally formed by alumni in 2002, the band later released an album and toured together. Now, more than 20 years later, they’re coming back to campus for a special reunion performance.
• Chill at TOS – 20:00 – 23:49, The Other Side
  Regardless of the location, all our alumni know our campus bar, The Other Side, aka TOS. Hang out with fellow alumni and guests while perhaps performing your favorite karaoke tune.

• Beyond the Pond Breakfast – 10:00 – 11:00, Conference Room
  Start the day with a light breakfast and conversation to start your day
• 25^th Anniversary Alumni Discussion – 11:30 – 12:30, Conference Hall
  Join a discussion on the history and future of the university, featuring President Novoselov, Prof. Klaudia Brix, and other guests. Hosted by AA President Judith Michels (2005).
• Open Campus – 11:00 – 17:00, All Campus
  Explore campus and discover what’s happening today, from the student fair and open labs to meeting the Dean and joining sports activities. For more details: Open Campus Day 2026.
• Food Trucks – 12:00 – 15:00, Across Campus
  As part of the Open Campus, alumni will have a selection of tasty offerings
• Alumni Path Opening – 12:45, Alumni Path
  Join the alumni community as we officially open the upgraded Alumni Path.
• Group Photo – Following Alumni Path Opening, Terrace Steps
  The traditional Homecoming group photo, including reunion classes.
• Exhibition Tour – TBD, Community Hall
  Join an exclusive 30-minute exhibition tour for alumni.
• Football Match – 15:00 – 16:30, Football Fields
  Students, staff, and alumni come together for a fun and competitive football match.
• Alumni Gala Dinner – 17:30 – 19:30, East Wing
  The highlight of Homecoming weekend!  We honor the newest Alumni Scholarship recipients while looking toward the future and raising money for the Alumni Scholarship Fund.
• 25^th Anniversary Gala – 19:00 – 21:30, SCC
  Celebrate 25 years of Constructor University at the Anniversary Gala.
