Constructor University and University of Macau announce collaboration for student exchange and joint research

On April 18th Constructor University in Bremen and the University of Macau signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement to foster academic and research collaboration between the two institutions.

The agreement was signed by Constructor University President Dr. Stanislav Protasov, and Vice President of International Outreach and Public Engagement, Prof. Thomas Auf der Heyde. On behalf of University of Macau, Rector and Vice Rector Prof. Yonghua Song and Prof. Rui Martins signed the MoU. The agreement includes several initiatives aimed at increasing collaboration between the two institutions.

At the heart of the agreement are provisions for undergraduate student mobility, allowing students to study and conduct research at each other's institutions on an exchange basis, which can be taken advantage of as early as 2024. The universities will also facilitate faculty, staff, and research personnel mobility, opening the door for joint projects, courses, programs and curriculum development.

"We are thrilled to enter into this cooperation agreement with a great university like the University of Macau," said Dr. Stanislav Protasov. "This opportunity will promote academic, cultural, and research exchange between our institutions, enabling our students and scholars to benefit from diverse academic and global perspectives."


University of Macau Rector Yonghua Song, expressed his excitement about the collaboration as well, stating that "the cooperation between our universities will foster mutual understanding and cooperation between our institutions and countries. We very much look forward to engaging further with Constructor University."
