Constructor Group at NAFSA 2026

From May 26-29, 2026, Constructor Group took the stage at one of the most prestigious events in global higher education: the NAFSA Annual Conference & Expo in Orlando, Florida; the world’s largest international education conference, bringing together over 10,000 professionals from more than 100 countries. This year’s conference theme, “Global by Design,” could not have been a more fitting backdrop for Constructor Group’s vision: building a globally connected, technology-driven education ecosystem that is accessible, scalable, and future-ready.

For the first time, Constructor Group participated as a unified presence under one roof at Booth #832. Constructor University Bremen, Nexford University, and Constructor Tech stood side by side — a powerful demonstration of who we are and where we are headed. Alongside our booth, we were also part of the German university consortium stand coordinated by DAAD, sharing the floor with other leading German institutions and strengthening our visibility as a globally recognised research university.

We were honoured to be joined by our senior leadership throughout the conference. A special thank you to Chairwoman of the Board of Governors Öznur Bell, Chancellor Turgut Tülü, and VP of Growth & Engagement Ahmet Aydın for being present and for bringing the Constructor vision to life in every conversation. Their participation elevated our presence and created opportunities that simply would not have been possible otherwise. We are deeply grateful for their trust and support.

Productive International Discourse

Over four intensive days, the Constructor University International Outreach & International Programs teams led by Irada Hageg (Director of International Outreach), Özge Güner (International Project Manager), and Nicholas Jeschke held meetings with 148 universities and organisations across 36 countries. Our conversations spanned:

• Latin America (Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia and beyond)
• North America (USA, Canada)
• Asia-Pacific (Australia, New Zealand)
• Europe and beyond

Discussions covered a wide range of partnership opportunities: MoUs, student and staff exchange agreements, Erasmus+ collaborations, dual degree programs, short-term programs, micro-credentials and research partnerships;  aligned with Constructor University’s global growth strategy. Follow-up is already underway. Our team is actively reviewing and categorising contacts to identify the most promising leads and determine next steps.

NAFSA 2026 was more than a conference, it was a moment where Constructor Group showed up as a unified, ambitious, and forward-thinking ecosystem on the world stage. We are optimistic that the connections made in Orlando will translate into a strong pipeline of strategic partnerships across regions.
