Forging international bonds at the EURIE Summit 2026
Identifying partnership and collaboration opportunities, strengthening international ties and bolstering academic innovation – these were just some of the focus areas for Constructor University’s delegation at this year’s EURIE, Eurasia Higher Education Summit, in Istanbul. The event brought together approximately 2,500 education professionals dedicated to expanding global knowledge, networks and collaboration. The event underscored Constructor University’s commitment to further bolstering its profile through international collaboration.
“The EURIE Summit proved to be a powerful catalyst for our global ambitions. Engaging with over 40 international institutions allowed us to identify concrete synergies that will directly enhance our research capabilities and expand our global reach,” said Dr. Irada Hageg, Director of International Outreach & Bolashak Program at Constructor University. “We are not just building a network; we are forming strategic alliances that will define our academic excellence in the coming years.”
Constructor University’s participation is a key element of its international outreach strategy, providing a platform to advance strategic academic partnerships, student mobility, and faculty development. During the summit, the delegation initiated discussions for formal agreements (MoUs), that lay the groundwork for long-term cooperation. The team also explored structured mobility frameworks, such as Erasmus+, and collaborative funding opportunities to strengthen institutional ties.
“International education thrives on exchange. Our participation at EURIE 2026 ensures that our students gain access to world-class networks, fostering a campus culture where global perspectives are at the heart of every academic journey,” added Dr. Hageg.
The summit, held at the Lütfi Kırdar International Convention & Exhibition Center in Istanbul, featured more than 380 universities and institutions from 61 countries. The program included panel discussions, workshops, and spotlight sessions, alongside extensive networking opportunities with over 150 exhibitors.
