Attracting young talent, sharing knowledge about groundbreaking technologies, using artificial intelligence diversly: There are many opportunities for collaboration between Bremen's business community and Constructor University in Bremen. During a visit to the campus, members of the Bremen section of the German Association of Small and Medium-Sized Businesses (BVMW) learned about research and teaching at the university.

"The exchange with the scientists was very lively and well received. We got a lot of ideas and were able to establish valuable connections," said Daniela Bessen, representative of the BVMW in Bremen. Around 30 representatives from the SME sector took the opportunity to find out more about the international university's research focus and teaching content at first hand.

Dr. Yilmaz Uygun, Professor of Logistics Engineering, Technologies and Processes, introduced the world's largest industrial Delta 3D printer developed at Constructor University, which makes the construction of prototypes more efficient, cheaper and faster.

Prof. Dr. Francesco Maurelli also brought future technology to life in a playful way with his demonstrations on autonomous driving. The participants visibly enjoyed their visit to the Virtual Reality (VR) Lab run by students. Some experienced first-hand what VR glasses, which have now found their way into many areas of the working world, are capable of. In the end, everyone agreed that the visit was more than worthwhile.
