Secure a place at Jacobs University – application, admission, and financing in one day!
June 10, 2021
Personal, uncomplicated, and fast: at the Admission Days event, applicants can secure a place at Germany's most international university, Jacobs University Bremen, in just one day. The selection process takes place either on-site at the campus in Bremen or online, as desired. There are several dates to choose from between July 10 and August 7. The number of participants is limited, and prompt registration is recommended.
On a campus tour, the applicants get to know Jacobs University. Students answer questions about their studies, but also about life at the international University, where over 1,000 students from almost 100 countries live together on campus and are active in around 50 student clubs. The selection process is based on a 30-minute interview conducted in English on personal motivation and qualifications. A decision on admission and on a possible merit-based scholarship is made the same day. Parents are also welcome to attend the Admission Days.
Applications are open for the academic preparatory year, the "International Foundation Year", as well as for all bachelor and master programs, starting in September 2021. It is important, especially for international applicants, to provide proof of university entrance qualification for Germany. Those interested in a master's program should have completed their bachelor's degree by September 2021 and be able to present an overview of their performance and grades. Documents such as letters of motivation or recommendation as well as proof of additional language tests are not necessary due to the simplified procedure and personal interviews.
During the Admission Days, there is also the opportunity for individual financial counseling by the Student Financial Service Team of Jacobs University.
