TEAM University: The First Entrepreneurship-Only University in Central Asia
This webinar is a part of an Innovative Universities Webinar Series.
TEAM University is a private university founded in Tashkent by a team of 11 entrepreneurs from Uzbekistan in 2020. Entrepreneurship is its main focus and learning methodology. The curriculum offers a hands-on, industry-relevant learning experience, with 70% of learning occurring outside the classroom. TEAM is also embedded into international higher education through multiple university partnerships.
How do students, who are used to tighter control in school, adjust to a more self-motivated approach? TEAM’s teaching is community-powered: classes are taught by entrepreneurs with live expertise. But how to make sure that the quality and coherence are maintained throughout the curriculum? Join us to discuss these questions and more with Azamat Nurmatov, the Dean of Faculty at TEAM.
