Ranked 57th out of 673 universities worldwide, Constructor University Bremen proudly announced its positive performance in this year’s Times Higher Education Young University Ranking (THE) rankings for universities established within the past 50 years. The placement positioned Constructor University not only as one of the top-rated institutions worldwide, but also established it as third on the list of German universities.

The results are based on 18 performance indicators across the areas of research, teaching, international outlook and industry. In addition to academic excellence, Constructor University’s performance reflects a commitment to building a diverse campus community and forging strong business partnerships. With a score of 93.5 (out of 100) for international outlook, Europe’s most international university is ranked 20th among all participants of the ranking. For industry, Constructor University achieved a score of 84.7, or 35th in the overall ranking. Scores for both indicators, as well as the indicator for research environment, are at an all-time high for Constructor University.

The results follow recent strong performances in the CHE University Ranking, comparing institutions within the German-speaking world, as well as in the THE World University Rankings, which evaluates both new and longstanding universities worldwide in a range of categories.

Key insights about Constructor University

Along with achieving the highest rank among young private universities in Germany, the rankings position Constructor University in the top ten young private universities worldwide. Only seven participating private universities achieved a higher rank. In addition, the rankings set Constructor University apart in the global comparison of small universities – placing it 3rd among institutions with fewer than 2,000 students.
