Mural City Festival 2026: Beauty of Science
Artists and scientists are rarely considered to be partners. One is focused on the objective, the other the subjective. And yet, both start from the same place: wanting to articulate and understand the unknown. That is the premise of Mural City Festival 2026, "Beauty of Science," which runs in Bremen from August 16 to 22 and invites independent artists to build large-scale murals out of scientific ideas. Constructor University participates as a Science Partner.
Our contribution spans social science methodology, logistics engineering and the sociology of well-being, fields that look nothing alike on a campus map, but turn out to speak loudly to an artist. Throughout the festival week, three of our professors present the research behind the murals in free street-side talks, open to everyone and pitched for anyone curious enough to stop and listen.
