Abstract:
This year the documentary "License to Krill" by the British producer David Sington (some of you may know his documentary "In the Shadow of the Moon") has been shown on the TV channel ARTE a few times (http://sales.arte.tv/fiche/3466/KRILL). The documentary is on the key link of Krill to the Southern Ocean food web. I participated as scientific SCUBA diver in the expedition and the filming under the ice, which is shown of this documentary. In the presentation I will show parts of the documentary and additional pictures, especially on the scientific diving under the Antarctic sea-ice.
