How to find your colleagues
Find your colleagues in Teams

The best way to find your colleagues, is finding them in Teams. We can recommend using the search bar on top of Teams and once you start typing the name, the person should already appear.

When you then click on the person, you will most likely find the information you are looking for. You find in which organisation their are, how to call them, and in which room you can find them, when they are on campus.

Working on adding information at the moment

Reason for closing the directoy to external access

Most international universities do not share their staff data publicly and we have decided to do this as well, because of:

  • Security concerns: It is easy to pretend to be someone else, when the attacker can say, John Doe from Finance is currently ill, can you help me with paying this invoice, which is due tomorrow? Our president asked me to get this done, and I could not reach the head of finance at this moment either...
  • Privacy: There is no reason to show names, positions, pictures, room information to externals.
  • Maintenance: This information was kept updated manually. We have automatic updates of information in our own tools - and creating an API to the website would cost a couple of thousand Euros.

There are still some hickups to be expected, but this should be done before end of 2024.
