An increasing skills shortage is challenging Germany. We have to develop strategies to cope with this problem.
Multiple actors with different perspectives are necessary and needed to work synergetically on this matter. That is why the event "Fachkräfte. Chancen. Nutzen." ("skilled workers, chances, benefits") takes place at Jacobs University this Thursday.
Rainer Küchen and Elfriede Dieke from WIR, Wirtschafts- und Strukturrat, will open the meeting together with Dean Prof. Dr. Arvid Kappas from Jacobs University.
Several lectures and speeches will be given during the evening, ending with a panel discussion.
