The Times Higher Education Europe Universities Summit will take place on the Constructor University Campus and deal with the central question of how universities improve their collaboration with each other.

Under the motto "Constructing the future: Partnership for impact", Constructor University is hosting one of Europe's most important university events on April 23 and 24. More than 300 representatives from academia, industry, politics and civil society are expected to attend the Times Higher Education (THE) Europe Universities Summit on the campus of Constructor University Bremen.

The summit will deal with the central question of how universities improve their collaboration with each other and with stakeholders from industry and society, in order to achieve tangible and sustainable progress.

"As a private, English-speaking university with one of the most diverse communities in the world, we feel particularly committed to knowledge transfer and international cooperation," said Dr. Stanislav Protassov, President of Constructor University. "Hosting the THE Europe Universities Summit on our campus is a milestone in our young history. We are looking forward to exciting discussions and a stimulating exchange."

Numerous renowned attendees from academia and society will be present to dive into these discussions. They include Roberta Basset, Global Head of Higher Education at the World Bank; Evelyn Welch, President of the University of Bristol; Yoan Villain, Presidential Advisor for International and European Affairs at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin; Balázs Hankó, State Secretary for Innovation and Higher Education at the Ministry of Culture and Innovation in Hungary; and Erika Kraemer-Mbula, Professor of Economics and Chair at the University of Johannesburg.

In addition to new models of partnership between universities and industry, the Summit will also discuss the extent to which digitalization is changing collaborations. There will also be a look beyond the European horizon. For example, Prof. Teck-Hua Ho, President of Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, will report on how his university has managed to improve its research performance by establishing successful partnerships.
