Management, Decisions and Data Analytics - Career
Bachelor of Science - Undergraduate program
Career Perspectives

The BSc Management, Decisions and Data Analytics program is centered around the ever-increasing need for managers being able to understand and use data in a business setting. The unique combination of business, technology and methodology will provide students with a competitive edge in the job market and advance into a future-oriented career in a global company or innovative start-up. Likewise, the study program qualifies students to continue their studies in international graduate schools.

The Student Career Support (SCS) as well as the Constructor University Alumni Office help students in their career development. The SCS provides students with high-quality training and coaching in CV creation, cover letter formulation, interview preparation, effective presenting, business etiquette, and employer research as well as in many other aspects, thus helping students identify and follow up rewarding careers after their time at Constructor University. Furthermore, the Alumni Office helps students establish a long-lasting and worldwide network which comes in handy when exploring job options in academia, industry, and elsewhere.

What was also great to complement the major were the interdisciplinary courses, where you also got a different look into how the natural sciences would look at a problem, or a specific issue in the social sciences. That was a great complement of the two areas in order to just get a really holistic view.

Before arriving at Jacobs, I already knew a fair amount about the university but I had no way of knowing how valuable coming here would be for my future. I was prepared for my professors to give me great lectures but I was not prepared for how valuable and instrumental they would be in helping me transition to the next stage of my professional life after Jacobs. I had no way of knowing that references from Jacobs professors are so highly regarded and that my professors would be so well connected internationally in their fields. I fully credit Jacobs for preparing me for the next stage of my life and for putting me in a position to actually start it, once I was prepared for it.
