Open Positions

  • Applications are invited for a PhD position in my research group at Constructor University, starting on September 1, 2026. The project will focus on equilibrium and nonequilibrium statistical physics, with an emphasis on theoretical and computational approaches. The position is supported by a PhD stipend from the School of Science at Constructor University. Applicants should have a strong background in theoretical and computational physics. To apply, please send a CV and a cover letter describing your research interests to my email address. Please also arrange for two letters of recommendation to be sent directly to the same address.
Research Interest

My research focuses on critical phenomena in disordered and correlated systems, using tools from statistical and condensed-matter physics, particularly percolation theory, multifractality, and random matrix theory. I study how disorder and geometry control universal fluctuations, transport, and spectral properties in systems ranging from quantum critical states and directed polymers to heterogeneous materials and complex networks. A central aim is to develop common theoretical frameworks that connect these apparently different systems through their underlying critical and collective behavior.
