September The publication Cell-free protein synthesis with technical additives – expanding the parameter space of in vitro gene expression was published in the special issue "Young investigators in natural products chemistry, biosynthesis, and enzymology" of the Beilstein Journal of Organic Chemistry.

February The publication Fluent Integration of Laboratory Data into Biocatalytic Process Simulation Using EnzymeML, DWSIM, and Ontologies was accepted (https://doi.org/10.3390/pr12030597). Co-operation with TU Dortmund and University of Stuttgart within the framework of NFDI4Cat and COZYME (COST-Action CA21162).
