"Emotions" - an exciting topic, not just from a scientific perspective. Under this motto, artists from Bremen, Hamburg, Lower Saxony and Frankfurt will be exhibiting their works at Jacobs University on 3 and 4 May, transforming the campus in Bremen-Nord into a forum for art - with dance and theater, workshops, poems, performances, photos and lots of paintings. A colorful spectacle for young and old. Admission is free.

For the third year in a row, the art exhibition "Art Fest" is taking place at Jacobs University. The exhibition is organized by students. A total of 130 works of art will be on display. “This year’s exhibition is a mix of human consciousness and emotions expressed via a large scope of art forms and mediums," says Andrea Pin Morales, one of the main student organizers of the project. The artist Clarissa Rötzel, who studied international politics and history at Jacobs University, is showing a film that combines all of this. The Jacobs University graduate's works of art have been printed by the United Nations Development Program, among others, and adorn various book covers.
The program of the Art Fest is multifaceted. On May 4, in addition to the normal exhibition, various workshops will be offered - including photography, watercolor, pottery and dance. The approximately 500 guests can look forward to an exciting exhibition. "We hope to move and motivate individuals to take a step back and find inspiration in the artworks of talented artists,” stresses Andrea Pin Morales.
Admission on both days starts at 8 p.m.
