First top ratings in U-Multirank, now in the CHE university rankings, too: For the second time this year already, Jacobs University has made an outstanding showing in a prestigious university comparison. In the CHE university rankings, the private English-language university got top ratings in the two degree programs Economics and Industrial Engineering.

In Industrial Engineering, the students are very satisfied with the support received from instructors, and in the category “international orientation,” JU is also in the top group. Economics is also in the top group in the categories “course offerings,” “scientific publications,” and “degree in appropriate time period.” In addition, the two degree programs also received top ratings for support at the start of a course of study.

“Internationality and individual support for our students are among the hallmarks of our university. They make an essential contribution to our high quality in research and teaching. We are very pleased that this is once again reflected so impressively in the CHE university rankings,” says University President Professor Katja Windt.

“The successes of our completely redesigned management courses represent important feedback for us. They show that the newly developed course offerings, including for example the ability to select among minors, and the extensive range of support offerings, are well accepted by our students,” emphasizes Professor Werner Nau, responsible Dean of Bachelor Programs.

At the end of March, Jacobs University already received top marks in the international U-Multirank. In the areas of research, knowledge transfer, degree courses and teaching, internationalization, and regional engagement, the private Bremen university is among the five best universities in Germany.

In recent years, too, Jacobs University has repeatedly achieved top results in the CHE university rankings; last year it made an excellent showing for the first time in the still young U-Multirank as well.
