There is no doubt that data-based decision-making is becoming increasingly vital for the success of any organization. How does one recognize the value hidden in the data? How can it be used and applied to contribute to successful decision making? How does a business become a data-driven one? A professionally designed, interactive online program at the renowned, English-speaking Jacobs University in Germany offers the opportunity to become data-driven.

The 6-week program is tailored for executives who wish to earn a university certificate and be trained by a high-caliber professor in the field of digitalization and data analytics. An introductory eSeminar and four focused training modules will deliver a profound set of skills. The full program is priced at 1,250 Euros.

The introductory seminar of the modular, data-based training is available to all interested executives free of charge. It provides participants with a better overview of the program's content. It addresses fundamental questions around Data-Driven Decision Making. The trainer of the entire program will be Adalbert F. X. Wilhelm, Professor of Statistics at Jacobs University. The respected, experienced scientist is responsible, among other things, for the "Data Science for Business and Society" study program at the international University. He has a wide range of experience from collaborations with industry partners.

The free introductory session is followed by four modules, each with a duration of four hours. The first module thereafter addresses "Data Literacy and Data-Driven Culture". It will focus on the topic of how a common understanding about data can develop a workforce. This is followed by modules on "Data Exploration/Data Quality Management", "Predictive Modeling of Data" and "Ethics and Fairness of AI-Based Systems."

The program is scheduled to begin on May 16, 2022. It will be held in small groups. Registration ends on May 6, 2022.
