Dear Santa, my wish this year is...
November 30, 2018
The Rotaract Club of Jacobs University Bremen organizes the ‘Make a Wish’ project for the tenth time this year. The citizens of Bremen can become one of Santa’s helpers and fulfill a child’s Christmas wish until December 7th 2018.
Fulfilling the wishes of more than 300 children around the area - that is the aim of the “Make a Wish” project, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. In cooperation with EPSYMO e.V. (a parents’ association for the promotion of psychomotor development of children) and Vegesack Marketing, the Rotaract Club of Jacobs University Bremen collects the wishes of children in the day care centers Neuenkirchener Weg and Fillerkamp in Bremen-North. The wish lists can be found on the Christmas tree at Bremen-Vegesack’s ‘Winter-Spaß’ and on the campus of Jacobs University. Everybody can become one of Santa’s helpers by picking up a list and fulfilling one of the wishes on it, without spending more than 20 €. The wrapped presents with the wishlist attached can be dropped off at the shoe store ‘Schuhhaus Meineke’ in Bremen-Vegesack, the ‘Haus der Zukunft’ in Lüssum or the porters at Jacobs University until December 7th. Afterwards, students will become elves and professors will turn into Santa Claus when the gifts are delivered to the kindergartens.
Rotaract is the youth organization of Rotary International and operates worldwide. It is a service, leadership, professional, and community service organization that focuses on the development of young adults as leaders in their communities and workplaces.
