Jacobs on Tour: Student Recruitment Around the World

The Undergraduate Admissions Team travels to different regions of the world during the year to get to know potential students and to excite them to enroll at Jacobs University.
Recently, Aylin Krieger, based in Bremen, and Peter Tsvetkov, based in Taiwan, met at a fair in China. Aylin, who took on the new recruitment region China this year, participated at fairs and visited schools in Shanghai, Beijing, and Shenzhen.
One colleague from the Admissions Team is currently recruiting in the United States. His three-week tour will take him to Florida, Georgia, Washington, D.C., Virginia, and Massachusetts. Next week members of the team will also explore the student pool in the Baltics by visiting Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia.
Student interest in attending university in Europe, especially Jacobs University in Germany, is on the rise. The Admissions Team can be met in Germany, for example, during studyworld in Berlin (May 12-13) or at the Vocatium in Bremen (May 18-19). Other exciting journeys around the globe are planned. Ango Mwakisu from the team will tour the West Coast of Canada, whereas Kim Elise Lukosch will visit Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan.
