Jacobs University student Anastasia Resetnic receives Hofmann Scholarship
Undergraduate student Anastasia Resetnic has been awarded the Hofmann Scholarship for her academic achievements in chemistry. For twelve months the August-Wilhelm-von-Hofmann-Foundation will fund her studies with €300 per month.
Anastasia Resetnic was put forward to the local chapter of the German Chemical Society (Gesellschaft Deutscher Chemiker, GDCh) as a Hofmann Scholarship candidate by Gerd-Volker Röschenthaler, Professor of Chemistry at Jacobs University. She is one of 23 students in the whole of Germany to receive the scholarship and the only student from Bremen.
Born in Moldova, Anastasia Resetnic is in her second year studying for a BSc in Chemistry at Jacobs University. Aside from her great academic performance she has also been closely involved in a number of Chemistry research projects and is currently working on the research topic in Organofluorine Chemistry at Jacobs University with Mykhailo Shevchuk as her research supervisor.
