Mixed Methods Award for Regina Arant

Regina Arant, Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department Psychology and Methods at Jacobs University, wins this year's Mixed-Methods Award by the Division Evaluation & Methods of the German Psychological Society (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Psychologie).

Her dissertation on "The Impact of a High School Year Abroad on the National and Host Country Identity of German Exchange Students" convinced the jury with its innovative mixed-methods approach within the field of psychology. Regina Arant wrote her dissertation at the Bremen International Graduate School of Social Sciences (BIGSSS), which is jointly run by the University of Bremen and Jacobs University.

The Mixed-Methods Award is awarded every two years by the Association for the Promotion of Qualitative Research in Psychology. It is endowed with €1000 and will be awarded at the Congress of the Division Evaluation & Methods of the German Psychological Society on September 17-20, 2017, in Tübingen, Germany. Congratulations, Regina!
