Digital change affects schools: But how do you shape it instead of just being at its mercy?
"Change Management" is the theme of a two-day professional development course for school principals, run by Jacobs University in cooperation with MINT-EC, the national excellence network of schools with upper secondary level and a strong profile in mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology (MINT – the German STEM equivalent). Dr. Christian Stamov Roßnagel, Professor of Organisational Behaviour at Jacobs University, is the lecturer.
The aim of the course is, on the one hand, to help participants to use findings from current motivational psychology to unleash a willingness to change and on the other to identify ways to encourage early adopters among the teachers to motivate colleagues with less affinity for technology to embrace the development.
