Constructor University Netiquette

On all our social media channels, we wish to have a fair, factual, and constructive way of communication with our followers. Therefore, the following rules apply:

• We attach great importance to a factual, polite, and respectful language.
   
• We do not allow any kind of discrimination, insult, or defamation of people and groups. This particularly applies to statements reviling a person’s or group’s origin, religious affiliation, nationality, physical or mental condition, sexual identity, gender, social circumstances or age.
   
• Violations of the law are strictly prohibited. Comments are particularly not allowed to have any criminal content, be harmful to minors or be pornographic. Such content will be deleted immediately and without announcement.
   
• The advertisement of products, services, elections, or political parties is not allowed in our comments.
   
• All comments should relate to the topic of the respective post.
   
• Please respect the privacy and personal rights of others. Do not publish any personal or personally identifiable information of others such as names, pictures, addresses, phone numbers, or links/tags to their private social media channels without their proven consent.
   
• Before you release any content, please make sure that you own the right to publish the content. This especially applies to copyrights.
   
• We want to enable our entire community to participate in our social media activities. Therefore, and to avoid misunderstandings we only post in English. For the same reason, we also ask our users to comment in English. We reserve the right to delete comments that are not written in English if we cannot immediately check their content ourselves with reasonable effort (for example by using an internet translation program).

All social media channels of Constructor University are monitored and moderated. Our users have no claim to the publication of articles.

In case of violations of the rules, we will remove the corresponding comments as far as technically possible. If comments link to other content, which violates our netiquette, we will delete them, too.

In the case of any repeated or serious rule violations, we reserve the right to block users temporarily or permanently – usually after an appropriate warning. A permanent blockage is possible in particular if a user has published criminal content.

All users are legally responsible for the comments and the contents they publish themselves.
