DHET Scholarship for South African students

The Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) is offering fully funded scholarships to South African students for the 2025/2026 academic year at Constructor University in Bremen, Germany. These scholarships are available for bachelor's, master's, and PhD programs, commencing in September 2025 for bachelor's and master's students, and June 2025 for PhD students.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • South African citizens in good health.
  • Strong academic record:
    • Bachelor’s applicants: Minimum average of 65% in NSC, including Life Orientation, Mathematics, and one other STEM subject.
    • Postgraduate applicants: Minimum average of 65% in previous studies.
  • Interest in studying in Germany and commitment to South Africa's development.
  • Available for full-time study in Germany from September 2025 (bachelor’s and master’s) or June 2025 (PhD).
  • Meet the entry criteria for the chosen program at Constructor University.

A wide range of fields are available, including engineering, robotics, management, mathematics, artificial intelligence, neuroscience, computational systems biology, nanoelectronics, physics, chemistry, applied mathematics, geosciences, social data sciences, cognitive psychology, computer science, biotechnology, accounting, auditing, political sciences, international logistics, computational drug discovery, communication science, history, economics, sociology, and more.
